A new form was born and the weaver artist had to adapt to these new ideas and new professional possibilities. They are huge and multidisciplinary. This new situation has, without a doubt, fueled my passion for textiles.”

Louise Lemieux Bérubé, a prominent pioneer in the innovative use of Jacquard techniques for weaving, was born in Montreal, Quebec.
